Part of Jaw Bone that was extracted on 8-28-1281 viewsI had some discomfort where the hole is in my lower right jaw and stuck my finger back there to see if there was some food stuck in there. When I did that, the bone that has always jutted out of the hole popped out - but was hanging on by a thread! Panicked, I tried several places to see if they could help. I was afraid it would either finish breaking off when I was eating - or worse yet - when I was asleep!! I FINALLY was able to get in to a dental clinic at TMCW in Kansas City, and the dentist gently tugged on it and it came right out! Now the hole in my gums is smaller and am hoping that it will somehow close up!Aug 30, 2012
